Shift Light is In
Just finished putting the shfit light in and it works!
Used the Harlan light and the instructions on http://www.hashmarks.com. Thanks John for those great instructions!
I had never worked under the dash in the drivers area before. There really is no room for us larger people. What a pain.

 Looks like you mounted your light in the same spot as me using the same fittings...
Hey, I'm pretty skinny and believe me, I didn't have a lot of fun working under the dash either.

Re: (scorp508)
Does it blind you right there?
I just put it up with the 3m molding tape in case it doesn't work out there.
The installation wasn't a pretty sight

Re: (scorp508)
Scorp, mine is pretty much pointed at my head rather than angled up at the roof.
As you know, it is a bright light but I aim it towards my face and then "tweak" it down a little so it isn't aimed squarely into my eyes. After you "tweak" it properly the intensity of the light isn't a problem IMO.
I've never "used" it with it pointing directly in my eyes at night for obvious reasons. During the day, brightness or aim is not an issue.
