Are the two pretty much interchangable??
Are you going to be reprogramming the computer that you're getting?

yeah, you shouldn't have a problem. To double check, go to http://www.akmcables.com and jet an e-mail to Andrew. He could tell you down to the chip serial number if they are the same probably.

I would think they are different. I am not sure about the wiring harness, but I believe the way the injectors are fired is different between '94 and '95.

I am not sure. A friend of mine has scanning software on his laptop and it will read 95 and 96 corvettes. It will not read my 94 even though the unit looks identical and has the same plug.

Are you abosutely possitive the '94 is sequential. I think it started in '95.
Frank, as to why your firends software read '95 and '96 is very strange since on eis ODBI and the other is ODBII. I did not know there was a scanning software that crossed over. Any scanning software that works on '95's should work on '94's regardless.

Yes, absolutely positive. Even when doing tuning, all the software says that the reason for two sets of L & S term BLM readings as well as doubles of a few other things is because of SFI.
I'd have to go look, but I'm pretty sure it says it in the service manual too.

here's a site with a lot of info about TPI and SFI ...

err.. ok, they are calling it Sequential Port Injection .. not Sequential Fuel Injection.. same thing as far a I am concerned.

Re: Is a 94-95 PCM/ECM the same? (Springer's 95)
Not sure how much this has to do with it, but the Hypertech power programmer is the same for both the 94 and 95.

I gues that would solve any question about the programming being any different. I still don't remember why I thought the '94 was batch fired. Probably just my own confusion because of my old '92 and I am blending memories of that and the '94 together.
