I've asked this question before with no responce. Thought I'd try once more. My blower motor comes on & off on my 94 corvette. When it comes on I can't turn it off. Anybody with & idea ? Thanks
Got electronic A/c (C68 ) ?
The blower control module is kaput and can operate randomly supplying power direct from battery to fan.
Unplug the blower motor until you get it fixed to stop battery going flat
would that also cause that fan to randomly NOT come on? Every so often in my 86 (with electronic AC) the fan wont come on, as long as I am cruising on the highway it's ok, but heats up quick when I have to stop; then other times, everything is just fine.

Controls send low voltage signals to the module which then amplifies them to control blower speed. The next time it quits, check for voltage on the signal wire - Brown or Tan - at the Module. At "1" it should be 2.5 volts. At "10" - 6 volts. With those inputs, the output - Black/Red or whatever is hot at the Blower should be 4/12. If there is no input, the Controls are faulty or the circuit has an intermittent open. If there's an input but no output, it's the Module. If there's an output but no blower, it's the connector or the blower motor is shot.
