I've tried to E Mail them and also call them on the phone and no response either way. Just wanted to know if they are still in business? They sold me my Oil Pan and I need to buy the Pick Up. Pipe

I've heard that too. But, I didn't experience it (except with lack of answers via their public email system.)
1 mo ago, I ordered about 6 items. One was on back-order. On that Thursday, Clay said he'd have my 6th item on Monday. He predicted delivery by Friday. I got them 1 day early.
Then, after several tries, I talked Clay into making a special order item for me. In about the same amount of time, I had my part. Again, I was happy because of the nature of my request.
Clay and Jim have answered several questions for me over the past couple of months and I wanted to repay the favor by ordering some of my stuff from them. As a result, I'm happy with their service, parts, and turn-around time. Count me as a happy customer.
Very happy customer here as well. I know Jim said that they are redoing the entire TPIS website, so that may answer the email problem. As far as them not answering the phone I have never had that happen unless of course I called after hours.
I had a negative experience with them. I once called and ordered large tube runners from them and talked with jim and gave my credit card number.
I then waited and waited and almost forgot about those. When I remembered, I called and couldn't get ahold of anyone. When I finally did get jim after calling a few more times, he told me that it didn't look like they were going to get anymore runners. I asked why I wasn't told this especially that I gave my credit card number almost 3 months ago, he simply said that they forgot to call me.
That was the last time I dealt with these guys. In my opinion, one day you will either need to service or troubleshoot your expensive tpis part and I now believe in buying disposable parts so I don't have to depend on a vendor that's obviously NOT really interested in each customer.
I once actually talked with myron cotrell and he came across as the most arrogant person I had met so far. Unless you were paying him 8K for a motor he just didn't give a hoot about you.
I have dealt with TPIS for 3 decades and have found their products and service good. Of course from time to time every vendor slips up and misses a call, that does not mean they are no good. As far as Myron goes I have know him for a long time and he has good and bad days, just like all of us. Myron has been rude to me and very good to me. For example he has spent hours tuning my car and would not take money and he has also called me an "idiot" too. But Myron is an icon in regards to C-4's and the TPIS. He has done much for the Corvette and the community through his charity and inventions.
TPIS, particularly Clay and Jim have done numerous things for me and stand by their work. I would highly recommend them and not charicterize them by just a few occurances over their many years of service. I currently have a forged 383 TPIS engine in my race car and Clay did a great job of building it and backing it. I respect them and their work.
I ordered block off plates from them. Very well built. I love their parts. They are built well and in America unlike other vendors who get cheaper parts from China. The block off plates were thick. Other ones I have seen were as thin as paper. Only 12 dollars a piece, it was well worth it and they are beautiful to look at!
Made in the USA!!! I support TPIS all the way and I had excellent customer service with them. Very helpful. Talked a little gruff but that was just the mans natural tone of voice.
