Brakes not stopping
HI, I have an 89. I got in it the other night and noticed the brake pedal was all the way up and very hard.My idle on my car is a bit low to begin with but i had to really give it gas cause it wanted to stall out . I started driving it but i turned around real soon. It was no fun to try and stop it.I think it's the power booster . I don't hear any hissing sounds. No leaks around the master cylinder. How do you get the power booster out.Do i need to be a contorshunist, or double jointed.How much of the interior has to come out.And does this sound like what the problem is.

Changing out the booster was the first thing I had to do with our new 86. First time I had ever done one and it took me 4 hours of work with maybe a 20 minute break to rest my shoulders. I don't want to have to do it again anytime soon but not the end of the world.
