After a great C4 Yosemite Run and a harsh Monday at work I needed to relax and got busy.
Thread sealant
Torque Rocker Studs to 50 lbs ft
Torque lifter tray to 18 lbs ft, hopefully I got the roller-rockers right
Torque oil and fuel pressure sensors to 106 lbs in
The oil pressure gauge torques to 106 lbs in but I grabbed the wrong torque wrench and OOOUCH

Congratulations'
[QUOTE=PLRX;1571779465]This is my first time doing the whole thing. Took me couple of pistons to get the hang of it . Did the crank
and 4 pistons (Scat Crank and Rods with SRP pistons), tomorrow I'll finish the bottom end and start on the valve train etc.
What you all think?
'Awesome' .. and great pic's. I didn't build my Vette engine .. But I did build an early Triumph TR4 when I was in College. The motor was in my room over the winter, in Minnesota .. I have to admit, one of my most memorable experiences. The first time, I put the head gaskets on wrong, Start again .. But when all was done .. a wonderful learning experience & achievement. Congrats!!

Pete, your work looks amazing. You know i dont know much but just by the way it looks and do fine works your doing, i think your LT4 is going to run perfect. Cant wait to be on the passenger side seat when you punch it down the road.

Hey PLXR,
How different is the cam you chose from a Hot Cam and did you upgrade from the LT4's roller rockers? I also noticed the hole in the side of the oil pan. Is this stock or are you using some additional oil cooling system? Looks to be a pretty sanitary build. Curious what you are expecting in regards to final horsepower.
