Lt1 headers on an L98 motor?

Lt1 headers on an L98 motor?
I would like to know if headers from a 1995 Lt1 motor would fit on a 1985 L98 motor. I know the heads on an Lt1 are aluminum and steel on the L98 but are the headers innerchangable?

Disclaimer: From what I've read not what I have experienced.
I believe the LT1 cars had a very different engine mount set up than earlier SBC C4s. I would think that could be an issue with fitment.

They will bolt right up to the heads. Y pipe flange will be off just a slight touch easily fixed. Up to you how you want to play with the smog tubes but its doable. See slickfx3's setup.

I've got LT4 headers on my L98, it sure took enough bolts to plug all the O2 holes. They fit good!
