Default Oil dipstick ?
While taking off my headers, I was trying to pullout the dipstick tube and I cracked it.
the zone sells one for 65 and newer, but I thought the LT1 used a different style?

Or am I having a senior moment and it is the LS1 that is different?

65 an newer will not work as the dipstick changed to the passenger side in 1980. Try the dealer, Ecklers,Corvette Central etc. They should carry one.

Which side should not matter, unless the bolt position changed.
