'96 LT1 Another starts then dies after a few seconds thread

Le Mans Master
Had to change a heater core. First thing we did was disconnect the battery for 10 mins, because we had to remove the airbag on passenger side. Several connections had to be unplugged and re connected during the process. Now the car will start and run a few seconds and shut off. My code reader says cannot link. HELP PLEASE Thanks in Advance This is a 95 model C4
BTW, your code reader won't link because only the 96 was OBDII, still you can pull codes on the dash.

Its almost always the Ignition switch when they do this. its located on or close to the steering column under the dash. there anywhere from $13.00 - $25.00 the big plug in on it has 9 male terminals. put a new one in it should start. wont hurt to take the MAF sensor out and clean it with MAF cleaner and re install.
