I am changing/flushing out my radiator this week and will replace the top radiator hose and vacum out all the debris by the radiator. What else should I do whild I have everything out? I think I will take the overflow tank out and clean it out with sand and rocks. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Do all the hoses the bottom one will probably have to be ordered. You wont want to be stranded over one hose and then have to order it.
Since you have the L98, and you'll have the radiator out to clean around and under it why not replace the rubber fuel lines in the front of the engine. They get old over time and could crack causing a leak.
Hoses, upper and lower. Full system flush. Replace with a 50/50 mixture of distilled and anti-freeze. Replace the radiator cap.
Replace the t-stat. Pull the radiator and fully clean.
You'll be surprised at how much cooler you will run.

Make sure that you drill 1/8" holes in the new thermostat prior to installation.
Never heard that before. What's the reason for adding the holes?
L98 engines have a problem with getting ALL of the trapped air out of the cooling system. When air is trapped in the system your low coolant light will come on intermittently. Worse yet, trapped air can cause hot spots in the system which can lead to engine overheating, premature wear and other damage. See the attached write-up on how to properly Burp an L98 cooling system.

I just put a towel on my shoulder and pat it on the back.

Very good. I did this the other day when I thought I properly burped my system. Ended up finding out I was over a half gallon short because of trapped air
