Stock LT1 Exhaust vs With Added X-Pipe
Completely Stock 95' LT1 Exhaust then with the Resonator Removed and added a
3" Flowmonster X-Pipe Only.

I think it Makes the Stock Exhaust Sound Awsome. Louder, Lower and with no Drone whatsoever.
What do you think?

thank you for the video. I assume you are still using stock mufflers.
I too will be doing this soon.
Its my understanding the stock lt1 exhaust is app. 2 3/4" in diameter and then necks to 2 1/4" in diameter at both the resonator and then again into the mufflers.
So 3" resonator is effectively larger than the stock exhaust pipe.

Very nice! Love the deep growl when you throttle it. Where did you find the flowmonster. How much was the conversion? I'm only asking because I priced a shop to do mine with a 3" magnaflow X and it was north of $400.

That sounds great! There is actually a difference in sound with the stock vs X-pipe exhaust! I think that is what I will be doing shortly!!!
Isnt the stock resonator straight through? So why such a difference in sound?

I really like it...Yes,the resonator is straight through but I think the Scavaging affect has alot to do with the nice deeper / louder sound.

I hear Ya! The stock exhaust is not too shaby..Flows pretty well and I just can't justify the extra money for an aftermarket set.

I ordered a magnaflow X-pipe thru Summit racing. It will be here by the w\e and have it installed on Wed May 5. All I want is a lil' more flow and a deeper growl at idle and acceleration. For the $200 total, it should be worth it.
