Help! Installing c-beam, how critical is the alignment?
I'm installing my rear suspension and I'm having trouble getting the c-beam far enough away from the tunnel. The FSM says it should be between 39mm and 51mm from the tunnel. Mine is ~32mm everywhere. Is this going to be a problem? How can I get this sucker to drop lower?

The only alignment you need to make is line of sight from the trans output shaft to the differential pinion input shaft. If there is any angle in that, you will have incomplete u-joint angular velocity cancellation ( read that as 'driveshaft vibration' ).
