I don't have my Red 84 anymore, but loved it.
I sold it a little over a year ago and the new owner, Robert, is taking even better care of it than I did and I am definitely a clean freak

It's all stock I believe, in excellent condition starts right up and appears to be as reliable as a Toyota Camry.has great power, handles better than my 1998 convertible corvette I use to own and every function and button works. I'm happy with this car. It has 52000 miles, I've had it 5 days and after my C5 nightmare this car gives me hope in the corvette name again!

I'm another proud ,84, owner
I bought this as a project , ran great when I got it, I've put new interior in it, the previous owner had stripped the paint ,
My plans are to get it painted before winter,
It's a blast to drive, about the only thing I really needed to do was a new rear Y pipe
I also need get the AC repair , boy it's hot here in Indiana.

To everyone in this room,have anyone ever had problem with their car maintaining its idle while in drive. Having this problem with my 84. Not sure in which direction to go to stop this,anyone with any idea please let me know.

Does it still have the crossfire injection? If so, that would be where I would look. Usually it's the throttle body shafts leaking vacuum. Take off the air cleaner, and wiggle them. if they move much at all, this will more than likely be the issue. Either way, it sounds like a vacuum leak, and that's what you are looking for. h
