Thanks corvette Mike. I agree with you about the 84. Its a great piece of corvette history. I think all the older corvettes are priceless. Its great to see that people are still keeping the old cars around and driving. Not to many kids working on cars these days. I am 48 and I remember lots of guys working on cars. Its great to see that it is being kept alive, even if it is by us older guys.
And I also want to say that was a great project you and you son did with the trans am. Was nice to see a father and son share the same interests and hard work together on the car.
Great job
Kevin

Could be the fuel sending unit. Hope this helps.

Simply remove the four bolts of the gas door, remove the boot, disconnect the ground wire and the fuel lines and simply remove the sending unit. It would be wise to check the fuel pump as well as the strainer while your at it. One good thing about a C4 Corvette is that you don't need to drop the tank to change the pump and sending unit. Good luck!

Count me in as well.
This is great. Should be great for some nifty techy questions when we all come around to them. Thanks for starting this list. I have an 84, currently white that didnt run when I got it two months ago. Now, it runs, drives, and will be redoing interior and exterior as time allows. Next is the chase a steering fluid leak. guess I will try stop leak.
Has anyone had their instrument display refurbished? Who and how much did it cost? I can barley see my tach and cant see anything else. It looks possibly sunbleached.
Thanks all.

To the '84 gang:
I was reminded one more time last night how special our '84 Vettes are.
While just randomly surfing the boob tube, I stumbled upon that British "Wheeler Dealer" show on our beloved '84.
Couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
Luv that episode
