jet underdrive pulley set and Mezirere elec pump conflict
Will this pulley set:

cause problems for me if im running a mezirere elec water pump? i ask because i see the set comes with an alternator pulley and was thinking it might drain my battery if it causes the amps to go down. maybe im wrong. any info is appreciated.
thanks!

IF you underdrive the crank pulley, you MUST overdrive the alternator pulley to keep voltage at the battery. The alternator pulley should be smaller than the stock one you have now. If its not, the battery could drain. It's happened to me when I ran underdrive crank pulley only and left stock alternator pulley on. I had to go to a smaller pulley to get my volts back up.
Now i'm not sure what accessories you have on the car with that electric pump. How is your serpentine belt setup currently with the electric water pump?

In that case, just get the pulley kit with both crank and smaller alternator pulley. It should gain power (although small gains) and definately increase throttle response. Lighter rotating mass helps rev quicker so it will feel more responsive.

I used the March power and amp pulleys that were aluminum crank and steel alternator. Much lighter than the stock pulley. You could use similar if the balancer has similar bolt pattern, just have to measure the belt to get proper length.

For anyone who reads this with a L98 C4 I also have the JET pulley set. Water pump, crank, and alternator and my battery doesn't drain. I have noticed at times and this is once in a blue moon my lights will dim or I will have some bizarre electrical issue but it is only for a couple minutes. Like I said once in a blue moon. I keep an eye on my voltage meter and it stays around 11.9 to 14. I bought the kit brand new off Ebay for $35. I was under the assumption that my belt was going to be a different size but it is the same and that really threw me through a loop. I compared the pulleys to the stock when the motor was on the engine stand and they are slightly smaller. I ran to Autozone twice buying different sizes when the suggestion came Hey try the stock size belt.
