Default Help replacing aftermarket antenna

I have a 89 convertible and the old antanna was beyond repair so I picked a new one up at an auto parts store. Modified the top so it would lay flush with the top of the car but for the life of me I can't figure put how to wire the darn thing. It's only 4 wires including a ground on both the car and the new antenna. Anybody got any direction for a guy who has drank way too many crown and cokes and scratching his head for too many hours trying to figure this one out?? HELP!!

With your new antenna's wiring schematic and this PDF, you may be able to figure it out.

You might find help from Hooked On Vettes reply, here.

Thanks Agent 86 for the info. Looks like a couple crown and cokes and a new game plan. Sounds like I don't have to worry about 3 of the wires per the response from hooked on vettes. Part of the problem is that I guess I assumed every wire needed to be connected to something....guessed wrong.

Thanks again
