why does my 1987 corvette start fine 90% of the time and sometimes it won’t start.
but if I sit 15 minuets it will start.

Wrong section, but it's likely related to your VATS (Key/alarm system malfunction). Not uncommon. Lots of info over in the C4 section.

Likely the VATS. Get the bypass from Ecklers for 30 bucks and be done with it. 2 beer install time and never worry about it again.
