Pete,
Just a thought.
You might try Denny's drive shaft for info on a new yoke.
They provide suitable yokes with their new shafts.

PS: I have also machined the sleeve length down on a longer yoke once to suit the shorter tail shaft/housing application before.

I just tried looking up the part number for a factory replacement and it is listed as NS (not serviced) part of prop shaft assembly; looks like a drive shaft builder is your only option.

I tried to buy just a "vette slip yoke" about 10 years ago and had to buy and entire assembly (yoke, joints, shaft)from the stealership.

It is also possible to have a "groved" slip yoke turned down slightly then cromed up & polished to restore the origional diameter. Isn't cheap though.

my shop chopped mine down, 1/8" to 1/4" when I did the swap and called it a day...
