Bizzare Coincidence
I had an intermittent CCM, traced the issue to bad solder on one of the ICs, re-soldered, re-installed, and car was fine for several months.
Got new tires and an alignment. THE NEXT DAY the CCM started acting up, flashing the dash on and off. This continued on and off for a few months but I lived with it since the CCM is such a PITA to remove.
Changed the oil last week and car wouldn't start to drive it off the ramps. No dash display... damn CCM again.
Appears every time I lifted the frint wheels off the ground the CCM got worse! I know that seems silly but it did happen! Car will not start now. It's been several days and the condition has not fixed itself like it used to, so CCM is finally dead. Have a used one on the way so with two CCMs should be able to get at least one to work!
