ran across this thread; I got the Corvette Central brackets with J55 calipers under 16x9.5 Enkie wheels. I had to file the tops of the calipers some for clearance. With a new set of rotors and Carbotech Bobcat pads I have good stopping power. Well worth the effort. Total under $500.

Wish I had seen that before I bought a used set of DRM adapters. That's a far more elegant solution.
