I don't think having more than 2 layers helps that much unless your running a funny car or straight alcohol. more layers = more coolant spends more time cooling off.

Go ahead and get it. Why not? Just get a 160 thermostat with it. Easy install and helps ALOT!!!

My process is to overdo it until something else brakes. Then go ahead and over do that too. So on and so fourth.

I have that champion 3 core in my 1991 and i could not be happer. I had to trim some grommets in the rad housing but after that all was well. I have a tune so the fans come on around 190 and 200, and drop it right back down to 180 without any issues.

Could not be happier with it, and it was cheaper than the DeWitts by about 50 %.

I tryed them 4-6 weeks to get one I tryed everbody all about the same and most did not fit without some mods or had to buy more parts to make it work.. I went for the cheeper ones lone time to get one when the dude said it's on the truck now Ok.. I tryed .It will be one the road this weekend . It realy made me upset that the people that said on E-Bay they could send you one in 3-7 days were telling me 4-6 weeks and I ask the guy why don't you have one he hung up and Becool guys said they had one that would fit but need $200.00 in parts to make it work and on and on so $495.00 it's on truck send it. Life is too short to be playing. I didn't need games just a Raditor that worked without the BS..

They need you to give them the dimensions of your fans.
A new radiator and fans will obviously make things cooler in this thread.
I run a BeCool with my 500hp stroker motor. I run deeper gears and a high stall. I run around 200 with AC in stop and go traffic in 90 degree weather. Fans come on at 190 and 195 now, due to reprogramming.
