I really like them. I also have the rear Y with crossover tube and I have no drone. You can hear the mufflers but not annoying. with the stereo on I can't hear them at all. Without stereo it's just a low rumble.
The video Corvette Central has on these is a fair sampling.

I looked at and listened to so many mufflers I dreamt about them. At the end of the day I went with these same mufflers for my 90.

Got the Similar Magnaflow mufflers but I have no cats, sounds awsome when I get on it getting on the freeway but when I settle down to cruise I can hear the radio and no drone.

I have them on my 85 with Stainless Works long tubes and NO cats. They sound great, have a deep rumble and sound really good when you step on it. And if they are polished like mine , they look good too!
They replaced Flowmaster Super 40's that had hoooorible resonance!!!

Le Mans Master
I have a set for sale, but they are quad outlet. I'm in Lafayette if you wanna come get them. I also have a set of long tubes, pipes, clamps, x-pipe, etc.
Basically, I have everything from the cylinder-head to the exhaust-tips available.
I have no idea what they sounded like on the road. They were in a race car for about 10 hours, so either idle or WOT is all I ever heard. Both sounded awesome! I am parting out my race car now. I have already sold the motor. The full exhaust is out and ready for a new home.
PM me if interested. You are welcome to come take a look.

no not too loud, I have them with headers, 3" tube with X', which necks down at the diff. to 2 1/2 " tube up to the muffler. They are what they say, straight through, (2 3/4" perforated tube) welded case and has new oem lt tips.
