Default 1996 Corvette Collectors Edition Crankshaft hub

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is supposed to be a keyway for the crankshaft balancer HUB on a 1996 Corvette Collectors Edition LT4?

Thanks!

No. It's a press fit on both LT1 and LT4 with no keyway.

Are the HUBs interchangeable between LT4 and LT1 for 1996?

Yes the 1996 hubs are interchangeable. See this page from GM Parts Direct regarding the hub -

I do think there is a difference between the LT1 and LT4 balancer, but as said above not the hubs.
Just mark the hub before removing it so it can be put back on in the same orientation.

Why do you ask?

I need to get a new hub. The old one is bent.

You're right the balancers themselves are different but the hubs are the same.
