I have figured and figured and can't see a way to remove the stud that holds the dip stick and mounts to the exhaust manifold. If I try to pull the bracket to the fender well and off the stud the dip stick hits the manifold. Any suggestions? 93 LT1 vett, installing EM headers. Thanks

You have to rotate the dipstick while pulling it away from the stud. It's a press fit and can take a little effort to get it started.
