That would be a catalytic converter gone bad. Once everyone here tells you to check the gas, plugs wires etc etc, look under your car at night and see if the cats are glowing.
Regardless rotten egg sulfur smell is catalytic converter.
Now, once you realize the problem. We need to find out what caused it to go bad before putting a new one in, such as bad plug wires, injectors etc etc which usually dumps extra fuel into the exhaust causing converters to go bad.
Good luck.

Hi just bought this car 3 weeks ago
I knew i had to dump some money in it, I just had it smogged last week,
The previous owners didn't give a crap about it, What a shame,This is my 1st vette and I love my baby took me a long time to pick one up,I just picked some manuals up a swap meet, What I read these are a money pit if you don't work on them yourself. thanks

Well, it is a hobby. Enjoy it. You can get bullet cats for a lower price than factory cats. Unless you get some from a salvage yard.
They arent that hard to work on. Just dont wash the engine, or you may end up getting a new opti. Just search that one.
Dont be discouraged. Take your time, research etc and have fun with it. They can be spendy, unless you really research where to buy and what to buy.
