Default Afco aluminum radiator?

After finding that my coolant leak was a cracked radiator, I decided to replace it with an all-aluminum one, but didn't want to pay $500. Decided against a NOS replacement, as the plastic is 15-20 years old at this point, and it would probably just crack again. Found this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

I looked up the company and couldn't find this specific radiator, but I did find resellers that list compatability as a direct fit for 91-96 Corvettes, and with modification on 89-90's. Apparently it's on ebay for so cheap due to some fin damage due to shipping. Anyone have previous experience with Afco radiators? I'll let you know how it goes when it gets here!

They are built 5 miles from here. Lots of local racers use them. They produce lots of racing stuff. Mostly roundy round. I have some of their suspension parts on my Nova but have no experience with the radiators. Afco has a good rep as far as I know.

They are listed in the Speedway book and it is usually a universal radiator with no cooler lines if you have an auto.
The Champion radiator seems to be a good deal.My bubby uses the Cahapion radiator for all his vett radiator problems. They have a 3 core that is cheap or stock that is even cheaper.I think it is www.championradiator.com
na it is www.championcooling.com/

Well, install went fairly smoothly. Had to trim some off the rubber mounts on the underside of the upper support, and had to take about 1/2" off of the ENTIRE fan shroud, not just the inner plastic. Also, you can see in the above pic that the hole in the top-right is just a threaded hole, while on the stock radiator it is a tube for a 3/8" ID hose to attach to. So I had to run to the hardware store to get that fitting, but $2 and everything went fine. Still have to finish filling and burping the system, but look forward to seeing it run!

That radiator looks good...especially for the money. I didn't know AFCO made radiators, I always connected the name with coil-overs.
