Default stripped top

I have a 93 vette and the top wont stay on too tight I believe ive stripped the two front screws

anyone have any kinda non major fix for this?

Tap the holes and get bigger screws?

Do the screws tighten down okay or do they keep turning? Is your top painted or acrylic? If it is acrylic and the screws tighten down then your top is separating from it's frame, a common problem.

in the old days, and we had a metric screw stripped, we would run a SAE in it , the difference in the threads usually tightened things up. not a good or right way, but for a real quick fix, it would work.

What is striped? The bolt or the female threads in your top. I have a cracked top and may be able to get the female parts for you.

the screws do night fully tighten. they just spin till they get snug butnot tight and itll hold for a couple days then start clanging
