Default 89 parking brake adjustment

I searched but they were for early years,

some say they self adjust.

2 years ago the right rear pads wore funny, I ignored it when I put in noe pads, putting in pads this time I notice the weird wear, it appears the parking brake is pushing on the pads, on that side all the time.

looking closely the parking paw is not releasing fully, my Haynes show an equalizer under the car between the 2 cable to adjust mine has none.

I read I have to look at the lever. and work up there.

thanks for the help!

Because the pad is only pushed from one end pivoting off the other

!
There is a set screw on the caliper body that gives some adjustment of pivot point

thanks.

I think my spring is worn, I take a screwdriver and lever the paw out going with the spring tension and and moves, had the spring been stronger I think it would move the lever far enough away to help get the pad off the rotor.

where can I get springs? i called all the shops around here, not available, ebay wants 14 bucks each.

maybe I can stick a double spring in there to help it
