Default Need help identifying interior wire connector/harness

This connector sits behind the A/C - Radio section. It comes out of the harness near the plug for the E68 Electronic A/C controllers (e.g., main A/C console).

I've sat in the garage with the FSM for an hour and can't find it. I don't see it in the component section or the schematics for the nearby components. Can you help?

The wires are yellow, purple, red/blk, and white/blk. Small 20ish guage.

I don't have an 89 Electrical Supplement, but if it is coming out of the main harness, would it be possible it is one of the connectors for the C60 manual a/c control head option that is unused? My 91 FSM Electrical Component Location Views shows both sets of connectors (C68 and C60) coming out of the harness. C2 of the C60 head is a 4 wire square similar to the photo. Are there any other unused connectors in the area that you see?

Besides a single-wire connector, it's the only unused (by me) connector. Are you saying it's not supposed to be used? Does your 91 manual show the wire colors for the C68 and C60 harness?

Thanks.

I'm not sure how many, if at all, unused connectors are built in to the main harness on a vette.. In 1973, I worked for GM Packard Electric Division in Clinton, MS for about six months building main IP harnesses for Monte Carlos.. Only one main harness was built with provisions to plug in all availible options, hence the unused connectors. Per my FSM, on the 91, the wires for the C60 control head are - C1 - yel/blk, yel, lt blu, dk grn, gry/red, brn and blk and for C2 (blower sw) - yellow, tan, lt blu and grn.

On the C68, it appears to be brn, orn, dk grn, blk, between the control head and the programmer.

In the back of my Electrical Section there is a section called Harness Connector Faces, which lists the "pinouts" for most major components..

Looking further at connector IDs, it looks like the one in the photo is a 4 way f merti pack 150 series #12047785. In my FSM it is listed as C212. Still looking........

It appears to be connector c241.
Used by the Selective Ride control FX3

Pin A Yellow wire comes from the Vehicle Speed Sensor
Pin B Black/White wire goes to ALDL connector pin B
Pin C Red/Black wire goes to the Telltale Service Ride Indicator
Pin D Purple wire comes from the Vehicle Speed Sensor

Thanks! I don't have FX3 so that would explain it. Plus, the controls for it would be in the center console -- so it makes sense.
