My brakes on my 86 are rotten but I assumed it was the fact that the right rear caliper was not making any contact at all with the disc (as well as old fluid and God knows how much air in there). I took the caliper off and the piston rotates, so it's not frozen in the bore. I tried to bleed air and flush new fluid in with no luck. Turns out the caliper isn't getting fluid. So I removed the brake line from the caliper and it's not flowing any fluid either. The left rear brake is working. So there must be a problem between the junction and the right side flex line. I have not pulled the flex line off yet to see what I find but will do that next. The hard line is routed up over the spare it appears, so the chances of it being pinched seem minimal. Any ideas on this??? I did a search but didn't seem to find anything on similar issues. Any help would be great.
small particle of rust could have worked its way from a brake line into any small junction - the flare where the hard line meets the flex line is a narrow opening, I'd remove the rubber flex line and try to pump the pedal to see what happens. Be careful not to run the master dry or you'll need to bleed it.
Check that flex line. It is possible the hard line is damaged, but that would be rare.
I for the first thing to check would be the flex line. But there has been a rash of those year cars having a clogged ABS unit. That would be the next thing I would check.
I found something obstructing the flex line. Ran some new fluid and it seems to work. The brakes still don't seem very inspiring. Oh well. I'll do a full flushing once I order some new grommets for the reservoirs and the spring is too cheap not to try as well. Thanks to all.

May want to bleed the master just to be safe, especially if the pedal is low or soft.
