No pictures but maybe an explaination will help?
Follow your heater hose until you find where it connects to the TB
run your fingers under the TB towards the drivers side you will feel a rubber hose, it is connected to the TB and a nipple on the engine.
Since you are bypassing your heater take the heater hose that did not run to the TB and route it so it goes to the nipple.
You can now remove the hoses on the TB and leave the holes open or find some plumbing caps and cap them off.
Taking hoses off and replacing them on the nipple means you need to tke off the MAF and snorkle tube from the air cleaner.
Hope this helps

can i bypass an 84?! sounds like i could get some more power..
and the advantages are that the intake charge will be cooler because it didnt have to pass thru the heated TB. GM heated it with coolant to keep the plates from freezing in cold weather, however, most people who encounter such cold weather keep their cars put up for winter. (it has to get REALLY cold)

To the guy that wondered what gains you get - probably nothing, but it will keep the air entering the engine closer to the ambient air temperature giving you cooler denser air.

From what I have read, by doing the bypass you are going to have a cooler TB, which means slightly cooler intake air temp. colder air=denser air=more hp. Not much, but what the heck...
