Default Anyone know who makes these fixed headlights? (pic included)

These are the first ones I have seen that I really like, and they look to be perfectly flush with the hood.

I found them here:

http://www.bespokeventures.com/blog/tag/john-babbitt/

I have tried to contact the folks at that site but haven't heard back yet.

And yes, I know about the Breathless kit, but I like the look of these a lot better - I believe with the Breathless kit there is still a small "gap" between the light and the hood - the ones shown above appear to completely seal.

The bumper is the infamous "BSM" kit from Japan - several of us inquired a while back about importing it and it was mucho $$$$ to get it over here. If you do a search you can find the thread probably.

You can see the car is obviously in Japan above, so I'm hoping I won't run into a similar situation . . . where someone has a kit but it costs a fortune to get it over here, though obviously a headlight would cost a lot less to ship than a bumper in a big crate!

Agreed, but I think it was going to be around $2500 for just that front bumper . . . if someone bought quite a few I think they could make some money on them though.

I did get a reply back from a guy involved with that website and he's going to do some checking. I'll update thread if I find out anything!

They look like a custom 1 off job to me. Aluminum base pop riveted and painted black. Plexi pop riveted to the hood with a sealer/gasket.

Yeah as I mention above I already know about the Breathless kit, would prefer to keep away from them as they don't seem to have a stellar reputation here on the forum, plus I don't really like that kit too well.

By the way, for anyone who is interested in finding someone who could import the BSM body kit stuff, try ben@bulletproofautomotive.com, though I think it will still be close to the $2500 figure already mentioned for that bumper, other stuff might be cheaper.

OK - got some info and it's good news/bad news.

Good news:

It is a kit and the company that made it is called r-e-a-l from Japan.

Bad news:

It's discontinued.

Gonna keep trying to track down more info.

[QUOTE=RUKWKR;1578130612]

this c4 reminds me of a Ferrari and a nsx put together in a JDM fashion, its very nice, but id just be afraid to drive this in socal, there are lots of bumps, dips and lots of road hazards.... especially in the inland empire/los angeles area... again tho nice R-E-A-L is what conspired this.

Although I think the lights look good I wonder how low the low beams can go. With that big, flat floor on there, I dunno. It appears to be parallel to the ground so could the lights be aimed low enough or would the low beams start aout 200 feet in front of the car?

Solve that problem with some extra strong driving lights.
