Kudos to Corvette Forum posters, especially MissileDoc.
He emailed me pictures to explain a quick fix. This is what the
Corvette Forum (& hopefully owning a Corvette) is all about.

Congrats. I have gotten tons of help from this forum, and am fortunate enough to live by one of the "greats" that has worked on my car also, which I would have been stumped with out him.

This can be a great place with great people.
