Default 84 only power steering question and a couple others.

Trying to add a 84 serpentine drive to my 82 vette. lost as to how everything mounts on the drivers side and hoping for a blown up pict from an assembly manual.

Second question

why is there two hoses coming off the power steering resovoir, I see one goes to the pump itself but where does the other go?

I'm using a 86 a/c compressor bracket with this system did a 86 and 84 share the same belt or would I need a custom size? Everything seems to line up, I just disliked the complex a/c compressor mounting of the 84.

If you use a serpentine belt system like the 84, make sure you swap out your water pump for an 84 on up due to the reverse rotation.

Ok near as I can tell the smog pump upper bolts go through the upper steering resovoir bracket but I don't see how the bottom of it mounts.

yes I am using a 84-up water pump

How will my power steering ram react to the possible pressure differences between the 84 pump and the 82 pump?

Can anyone tell me for sure if the smog pumps lower mount is an aluminum bracket the attaches to the waterpump to block bolt and the to a bolt on top of the waterpump?

Any detailed pics of how the smog pump is mounted would be appreciated as well as pics of the reiforcement braces used.

The pics are not the best, but that is the lower smog pump bracket. It does mount to the top of the waterpump and to the block..I hope this helps..the reason the pics aren't the best had to use my ipod, daughter has the camera..
