Default Which one is right?

I had a bit of a problem with the car dying when I put it in gear so I did the min. air idle procedure and all is fine now. When I put the scanner on it afterward I noticed the TPS reading was .47 but I had just set it with my digital voltmeter at .54. Should I set it by the scanner?

I would trust the multimeter, there could be other things affecting the running scan reading?

I would believe the reading at the source i.e. the multimeter at the TPS.
