The car will only start using the starter fluid but shortly after it will die and not restart. I will try disconnenting the tps.

I may heve been confused. thought it ran "as long as" you held throttle at hi rpms.

again...did you try the "flloded engine" WOT to see if it starts? still not sure if it's lack of fuel or too rich. OR if the FP is holdling 43 when cranked and running. OR if fuel has water, whatever.

if it is holding pressure, engine should start and run at idle with one back of injectors. check the two FI fuses -I know, grasping, but it costs nothing.
