Hi Guys! I need sum help with a C-4 to C-5 break up-grade? on the 1996 corvette the front rotors are J55 13' stock and I am wanting to use the C-5 calipers (Fronts) with the J55 Heavy Duty 13' drilled and slotted Rotors? can this be done? Thanks Bornwild.

Any C5 brake install on a C4 needs brackets. They can be found on e-bay, but there is a forum member here who fabricates them.

Follow this thread for fore info.

And you will need c5 rotors, can't use the c4 rotors. the "hat" offset is different.

O.K. Thanks! I understand now, so I will need C-5 13" rotor's for the front and C-4 12" for the rear?

Even if you made a custom caliper adapter, the C5 rotor is wider than the J55 rotor
