I broke the fasteners that attach the egg crate energy absorber on my 1986 corvette to the rear subframe....

Does anyone know where to get this fastener... I am really hoping that I could get it locally at a NAPA/Autozone etc. etc.

a fastener that will work in this application is a 1/2" pastic push in rivet. They are available at napa/autozone/advanced auto parts/aid etc.

The ones I found were:

Body-tite! by DORMAN part number 45813

Rivet-tite! part number 47930.

To install I had to drill an access hole in the egg crate in order to press the rivet into the opening.
