If you need a good ECM for your project I have a 01227730 ECM with a mild performance chip that is set up for MAP instead of MAF. Saves space and aggravation.

The chip was done by Street & Performance in Mena, Arkansas and was set up for a 350 ci engine running a Comp Cams retro roller camshaft and Canfield heads in my 63. The TPI unit and ECM were from an 87 Corvette running the self contained (large cap) HEI distributor.

If you are interested please PM me.

I really do hate to slightly redirect the thread discussion, but what are the benefits of switching from MAF to MAP? Disadvantages?

I've all but decided on the FIRST intake after doing more research and sending some epically long emails to Ken, but the MAF vs. MAP discussion is one I've been wanting to have for a while and as you just brought it up...
