Low side will be in the larger diameter line. Usually on the Accumulator (the silver can in front of the engine). High side is on a smaller diameter line, that's usually the one near the upper control arm.

Ditto on the thanks. AC pro had the valves identified wrong on their website, this cleared it up. My '92 needed an entire 20oz can to increase the system 8lbs, and restore the cooling. Easy fix. BTW, does the compressor run continuously, or is it supposed to cycle? I have the electronic system, even when desired cabin temp is reached, the compressor runs constantly, is this by design? Not very economical.

Your "easy fix" is probably not.

If there's missing refrigerant, it didn't just get used up. You have a leak.

The system is designed to cycle. It's known as a CCOT system (Cycling Clutch / Orifice Tube). Cycling is the only way that the system can regulate pressures.
