84 c4 running rich
i have a 1984 c4 that is running way too rich when i floor it or hit the gas too hard it will sputter and die or try to die like it is flooding an you can really smell the gas what is there that i can do to fix it thank for the help

Pull off the air cleaner housing & look for vacuum leaks, bad grounds, drippy injectors, & bad wiring.
Check your tune up parts.
Check your fuel pressure, 9-13 psi is stock.
Check your tps voltage from idle to WOT.
Check the coolant temp sensor connection. Those early ones can give you problems.
