For beginning information check the fuses for the door locks.

If neither side will lock electronically from the manual slide switch, that might indicate a that the problem might not be with the door switches themselves but a common problem.

The PKE receiver is in the loop of operation of the door locks. I believe the door switches actually activate a relay in the PKE to operate the door solenoids to open and close the door.

So before ripping into the dashboard for the PKE, I would check out all other connectors, voltages and other related items first. This problem has nothing to do with the PKE programming but an actual problem of activating the door solenoids which is basically running around looking for 12 volts at the proper places and related grounds.

Well, sounds like you have a door lock problem, not a PKE problem. Have you checked fuse 42?

Once you get the inside door locks owrking, be sure and read the manual so you know how the remote is supossed to work.
