I took all the parts to the machinist and found out what the situation was and something I did not know was going on as well.
The pistons are okay and just need some glass beading to fix the scuffed areas for oil retention. The block is probably fixable which is good but I still think its cursed. Flywheel is okay, thank god. Crank just needs polishing. Heads need some work from strange wear patterns from the rockers.
The machinest told me that the valves have been floating which is indicated by the multiple wear patterns on some of the valves. The machinest was not sure what caused the uneven wear on some of the valve stems.
I won't be seeing the parts for a couple weeks.
I want extend a special thank you to Anguish on the forum for telling me about Archie Somers Machine shop and letting me use his S15 truck for the a few days.
Re: Screwed Engine Part 3 - Macnine Shop (STL94LT1)
were you running those hotcam springs? there seems to be some real debate on if they can handle 6500rpm and .525 lift for very long if at all. .510 lift and 6000rpms seems to be there safe point before floating.
Re: Screwed Engine Part 3 - Macnine Shop (AquaMetallic94LT1)
The original machine work was done in Atlanta. I have take my stuff to Archie Somers at Somers Automachine in Vancouver WA. He seems like he knows his stuff.
I had the stock AFR springs in the head. I have had the motor up to 6300 rpm once. and 6200 a few times.

2 things... Archie is the man, and you may want to rethink thanking me for the S15, considering how much it will cost you in oil consumption
