if the temp was over 228 and the fan did not come on, there is a problem. It should.
What temp was it running?
Are you sure you are full of coolant?
If you are over heating, you either need a new thermostat and if that doesn't help, you probably have plugged fins in your radiator.
Start by inspecting the front side of your Radiator, shine a flashlight through the opening on the R/H side of the Fan Shroud, near the A/C lines.. Also check the front side of the A/C Condensor as well.
In traffic idling? cruising at speed? A/C on? Did you try the heater - was there hot air from it? Have you checked the oil on the dipstick - water in the oil?
: TAHNKS GUYS SORYY FOR YELLING I SAW MY BABY CRYING . hA hA I checked the fan goes on and off ac working fine heat is working also BUT the top and bottom hoses feel soft like very little water going thru. I think the thermostat is stuck ??? If it is what should I put in ?? 160 190 ?? All so I DO HAVE TO be carefill getting th opti wet ?? Will that do damage??
