Default How to turn the ASR Off???

For some reason the button to turn the ASR off in my 94 coupe in not working so its always on. I don't have an issue with this however when I take my car through emmissions testing in AZ the techs can't load test tge car properly witg ASR engaged and they will only pass tg e car for one year instead of two years. Can the switch be shorted to allow it to be off so I can remove the jumper when testing is complete?

Have you verified when you turn the ignition on the ASR Off bulb in the Drivers Information Center display, lights and
then goes out?

The switch is a momentary switch. So you could place a jumper wire across the two wires of the switch with the ignition On and then remove it.

Problem is when you cycle the ignition Off and and then back On, the ASR defaults to On.

You can get a momentary switch at Radio Shack for $4.00 if
you want to use it as a temporary fix if the switch is bad.
