Rotors? who paints their rotors? Are you sure you don't mean your calipers?
I used high temp paint from the local auto parts store, used the same on my calipers (both were looking pretty nasty), and it has held up great.

Thanks Slow, hey where did you get that spoiler? I've never seen one like that on a vette. How bout some more pics of it.
I painted my calipers, it's the rotors that are rusting everytime I wash the car, I don't drive in rain if I can avoid it.

That's big time :bs
No, It's Jason Norris, he's in PA, he's got the 396 on here. He's still tweakin mine, but I must admit his chip was pretty close, runs like a :reddevil.
I'll ask him about it and give'em your email.
I was down at 4th plain last night, cops flyin in to kill the Sat unofficial drags, I bolted. Was just there to see how ricer an event it was, not to race.

What were you driving? I didn't see any vettes. Did they leave or run later?
Give me a call sometime, I guess we need to cool it here before they move it to the Off Top area.
ANyway, I painted my front rotors today with Primer and VHT engine enamel, I did the easy ones first so I could cruz in this great weather.
Still want to hear from Slow on that spoiler though???? :(

If you have them Zinc plated it should solve the problem. This is what Baer does. The plating will wear off the pad area but as long as you are braking the pads will clean off the rust. The rest will stay treated and rust free.

Um i think someone is terribly confused or do you drag your feet to stop your car? Yeah the rotor will rust in the areas the brake pads don't wear on but so what. Its not like your rotors last forever, i mean your gunna replace them every so often and if you drive your vette at all The wear from braking is going to end the life of your rotors long before the rust does. Maybe you have your parts confused, or i dunno maybe look into getting stainless rotors if them make them, i think they do? Either way i wouldn't worry about you rotors rusting.

I pulled my rotors off and cleaned the centers and vents off with a wire brush, masked the braking surface off and painted them with silver high temp brake paint. Been like that for since February with lots of miles since and they still look good. :)
IMO, if you already have the rotors on you car, painting them would be the most economical option.
