That IS cheap...
I wonder what the deal is. Nothing worth a crap leaves 50% or more laying on the table.

1000cfm is a 52mm. The stock 48 is 700 IIRC. The 'brand' 52's sell for $350 or more.

Lee, a 1000cfm throttle body is 58mm. That is a terrific price if it is for real.

yep and billet even not just cheap casting like most are. my only concern is that the upper and lower plates dont seem to be included and i assume the top plate is probably no big deal as its possibly just a normal design but i am wondering what it takes for the bottom plate.

What plates are you referring to? Are you talking about the plate that says "Tune Port Injection"? If so you can transfer that across or get a blank plate or one like mine that says "Lingenfelter Performance Engineering"" and the bottom plate sounds like the IAC manifold. If so, it is transferable. Usually both are not included.

yes those are what i was talking about, i know there not usually included and swap over but at first glance the totally differant look of the billet one made it apear as if it took something special/differant, but now after looking and comparing it to stock gaskets i see that it is the same.

dont like dealing with the auction site, here is a direct store link to the throttle body. CLICK HERE

as for the snout to air hose adapter (for lack of better term), it would be like this shows.

so basically something like this , looks easily fabricated..

Look at the gasket. It would have to be oval and your bolt holes would be slightly different but not easily doable.

The complete kit looks pretty nice. I am not at the power level to need 1000 cfm. I still have the original with 165k miles. I know it will give me problems eventually. It would be nice to get a good deal like that.
