Default What is this plug?

I just noticed that this plug was un plugged so i put it back together, and i swear i think my car is running better. I dont see where it leads to.

Its right next to the brake booster

That is your est wire. You have to unplug this when you set the base timing. Unplugged, it prevents the distributor from advancing. It should run 100% better when it is plugged in. Plugged in, it allows the computer to control the advance.

It should drive like a new car now.

When this wire is unplugged and then you plug it back together....you should probably set a trouble code 42. This is standard when you set the base timing. To clear the code, just disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable for about a minute. This will clear all codes stored in the computer and give you a fresh clean slate.

Enjoy your "new car". Drive it like you stole it.

your ses light should have been on while this was unpluged was it? If not you may want to check into why it was not on

Yeah my check engine light was on until i plugged it back it. Now its off.
