Default Difference between D44/D36 C-Beam

Hello,

My 92 6 speed is getting a 9" solid axle installed and we are going to utilize the C-Beam (in part) to mount the transmission. I know the length is different-Thats not a problem as it will be shorten anyway. When I sold my IRS I traded the 6 speed C-Beam for an Auto C-Beam. My question-Is the curve of the C-Beam similar on both? As the drive-shaft seems close.

Again I understand that the length is different as the 2 rears are different.

Thank you,
Steve

From the transmission end towards the rear the first 29 1/4 inches seem identical. The difference in the length starts at that point to accommodate whichever rear. The bow is I'd say a match.

Thanks for the response! This is the answer I was hoping for.

..... Are you doing the swap yourself ? Is your pinion centered between the wheel mount surfaces ?

No-A local chassis shop is doing it (MTK in Deer Park, NY). The pinion center is in the stock location.
