I agree with a lot of what has been said. Probably more modern lobes out there, but was a very popular cam in the 90's. Lots of use in both strokers and 350's, but you know you have a cam. Only you can tell whether your want to deal with that on a daily basis. I have two 93s with 383s and run the 305 in both. But I love the drivability and the wide torque range. I have several cars I have built that I have sold simply because I overcammed them and really couldn't enjoy them except at a race track.

Your call. Lots of folks with the Hot Cam also.
